No CommentHALO PhD students, Zach Ferraro and Travis Saunders, were successful with their recent application to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s Café Scientifique Program.
A café scientifique involves interaction between the public and experts in a given field at a café, a pub or a restaurant. Mr. Ferraro and Mr. Saunders have received $3,000 to organize a public debate between two leading researchers on the question,”Obesity: disease or product of our modern environment?”
