The University of Guelph, Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition named Professor Mark Tremblay as the 2012 Harshman Lecturer.

Since 1978 the Harshman Foundation has been funding the annual Harshman Lecture at the University of Guelph. The lecture is meant to bring in prominent researchers to give a talk that brings together the “town and gown” and presents important research in a fashion that makes it understandable and relevant to the general community.

Professor Tremblay presented the 2012 Harshman Lecture Plugging Into Children’s Health: Promoting Healthy Lifestyles in a Digital World on November 12 at the University of Guelph.
