Earlier this year, the Sedentary Behaviour Research Network (SBRN), which was founded by HALO team members, published a letter to the editor in Applied Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism proposing separate and standardized definitions for sedentary behaviours and physical inactivity in order to avoid confusion around the terms in the research literature.

Recently, a letter to the editor was published in Applied Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism where concerns were raised with SBRN’s proposed definition of sedentary behaviour. The letter can be read in full here.
