Call for abstracts

The 6th Conference on Recent Advances in the Prevention and Management of Childhood and Adolescent Obesity provides an excellent forum for authors to present their work in an interactive setting. We are now accepting abstract submission for posters and 15-minute oral presentations.

Please submit your abstract online. The deadline for 15-minute oral presentation submissions is February 26, 2016, and the deadline for poster abstract submissions is June 10, 2016.

Posters and presentations are ideal for presenting scientifically based investigations, clinical case studies, and demonstrations of community projects. Posters and presentations are intended to provide attendees with a forum to connect with each other and to engage in discussions about their work. Please note that 15-minute oral presentations will be accepted from trainees only.

Conference description

This conference brings together an interdisciplinary group of professionals working in the field of childhood and adolescent obesity. The 6th Conference will focus on the role of mental health in the etiology and management of childhood and adolescent obesity. The meeting will examine important psychobiological and psychosocial determinants of childhood obesity. Specifically, the conference will provide insight on prevention and management strategies in childhood obesity at the policy, school, public health, and all care levels through a mental health lens.
