At the Canadian Sport for Life Summit held in Gatineau from January 26-28, Dr. Geneviève Leduc was invited to present the French version of Canada’s Physical Literacy Consensus Statement to the French speaking delegates that came from Québec and all across Canada. One of the objectives of the meeting was to discuss the specific terminology issues that surround the translation of “physical literacy”. She also introduced the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy (CAPL) to the French delegates in a “Citius Vocem” (talk faster!) format.
