Dr. Gunnell gave a presentation at CHEO pediatric ground rounds on March 16th. Her presentation was entitled “Understanding adolescents’ motivation to be (or not be) physically active: Implications for behaviour change and well-being.” The objectives of the presentation were to have audience members:

  1. Be able to identify what type of motivation a patient has.
  2. Understand how different types of motivation positively or negatively impact behaviour and well-being.
  3. Understand how to foster better motivation to enhance behaviour and well-being.
