HALO Scientist Dr. Patricia Longmuir has recently been selected for the 2017 Ontario-China Young Scientist Exchange Program (YSEP). With funding from the Government of Ontario, Dr. Longmuir will spend 3 weeks in China in September 2017 visiting with colleagues and going to institutions that are doing research related to promoting physically active lifestyles among children with congenital heart defects. Her host will be Dr. Qing Du, Head of Rehabilitation Medicine at Xinhua Hospital in Shanghai. Dr. Longmuir will also be visiting the Maternal and Children’s Hospital in Hainan Province.
