HALO PhD student Iryna Demchenko (Carleton University, PhD in Health Sciences) has received a Mitacs Accelerate Research Award to support her 12-month internship with the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance (AHKGA). During this time, Iryna will be involved in the AHKGA’s Global Matrix 5.0 initiative that brings together 70 countries/jurisdictions to explore the current global state of physical activity in children and adolescents.
