Two of Dr. Patricia Longmuir’s students have received Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program Awards from the University of Ottawa. Each award provides the student with a stipend of $1,000 plus a $500 contribution to their research expenses.
Ms. Cherry Xiong received the award for her work on our project examining the impact of physical activity counselling in children and teens with chronic headache. Ms. Bhavika Patel received her award for our project that is examining the mental health of children with complex cardiac conditions.
