Professor Mark Tremblay from HALO was recently named Fellow of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (F-CSEP) – one of eight inaugural recipients of the distinction in the Society’s 51 year history. Nominated by peers, the Fellow of the Society for Exercise Physiology is a recognition of contributions to the society independent of the contributions to the fellow’s field of research. CSEP Fellows have inspired excellence among the membership and served as bridge-builders between the academic and professional members. This recognition is intended to serve as an example for inspiring future contribution from members in order to strengthen the Society and its impact on Canadians. His nomination reads “I can think of no other person in Canada that has had such a tremendous impact over the last decade, both on behalf of CSEP and for exercise scientists around the world”.

Congratulations, Mark!
