Grip Strength of Canadian Children 6 to 10 years of age (link to CHMS)
Grip strength measures the force that you can apply to a handle. The force with the right and left hands is measured separately and then added together for the total score. Most boys (2/3 of all boys tested) will have a total score between 17 and 33 kg. Most girls (2/3 of all girls tested) will have a total score between 14 and 32 kg.

Plank Test Results for Children 8 to 12 years of age
Previous research done by CHEO included over 270 children, 8 to 12 years of age. Most children (77%) could hold the plank position on just elbows and toes for at least 30 seconds.

Waist Circumference of Canadian Children 6 to 10 years of age (link to CHMS)
The size of your waist is an estimate of the amount of fat around your liver, kidneys and other important organs. Most boys (2/3) will have a waist circumference between 52 and 70 cm. Most girls (2/3) will have a waist circumference between 49 and 67 cm.
