Biography

Shakiba Bani Fatemi, born in Tehran, Iran, obtained her Honours Bachelor in Integrated Science with Concentration in Health and Life Sciences from Carleton University in 2016. After that, she started her M.Sc degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa and joined the HALO research group at CHEO in 2016. She is currently studying the effect of MPH on weight-loss and body composition. She works as a part-time physiotherapy assistant while enjoying weight-lifting, spinning, running, and any other physical activity you name it!
