Dr. Rachel Colley was in Glasgow, Scotland from May 24-27 attending the International Conference on Ambulatory Monitoring of Physical Activity and Movement, ICAMPAM 2011. Dr. Colley was presenting findings from her work on the accelerometer-measured physical activity data from the Canadian Health Measures Survey (Statistics Canada). The four presentations covered the descriptive findings on the physical activity levels of Canadian adults (n=2,832) and children (n=1,608) as well as two methodological presentations on daily patterning of physical activity and the objective measurement of sleep time.
