Cynthia was appointed by Council as the Council Member for District 4. She is a PhD candidate in Population Health at the University of Ottawa. She is also completing a Diploma with the Ontario Training Centre in Health Services and Policy Research. She graduated from the dietetic internship program at St. Michael’s Hospital and obtained her BSc in nutrition from Acadia University.

Upon completion of her Master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition at Mount Saint Vincent University, Cynthia enjoyed four years as a Public Health Nutritionist with the Sudbury & District Health Unit.
