On June 5th, visiting PhD candidate Danilo da Silva (State University of Maringa) made a presentation at the CHEO Research Institute Research Seminar series titled, “Academic experience in Brazil: How did I get here and what are my objectives”.
The key objectives of Danilo’s presentation were to:
- Summarize my academic steps/experiences from undergraduate to master degree.
- Introduce what I have been studying in Brazil (PhD project).
- Present my expectations for my international experience in Canada (the ‘sandwich’ PhD).
