Congratulations to Dr. Jane Lougheed, and co-investigators Dr. Pat Longmuir and Tyler Kung, who were awarded a CHEO-RI Research Growth Award. The project funded by the award will ‎examine the utility of submaximal cardiorespiratory exercise testing for assessing the capacity of children with complex congenital heart defects to achieve the recommended 60 minutes of daily physical activity. Tyler Kung, HALO graduate student, is conducting the study for his MSc thesis project.
