Dr. Longmuir has been awarded a summer studentship from the CHEO Research Institute. The funding will enable Ms. Neya Ramanan to work with Dr. Longmuir’s research team for the summer of 2020. Ms. Ramanan will be evaluating physical activity, activity motivation and quality of life among children attending the CHEO cardiology clinic. The measures are collected as part of clinical care, but Ms. Ramanan will ask parents for their consent to extract their results for our research project. We hope to better understand physical activity among all children attending the cardiac clinic, not just those who volunteer for physical activity-related projects.

Congratulations, Pat and Neya!
