HALO researchers recently spent the day at the Canadian Science and Technology Museum, connecting with visitors – including families and school groups – while recruiting participants and sharing information about the Global Adolescent and Child Physical Activity Questionnaire (GAC-PAQ) study. This international project focuses on developing an app-based questionnaire and assessing its accuracy in measuring physical activity among 8–17-year-olds across 14 countries, spanning low-, middle-, and high-income regions.
The team also shared educational content about the Canadian 24-Hour Movement Behaviour Guidelines, ParticiPACTION, and hosted a fun spin-the-wheel activity on Healthy Active Living. The team will return to the museum in November to continue their recruitment and outreach efforts.
See the GAC-PAQ flier and brochure (in English and French) below if you are interested in enrolling!
