Biography

Markus Duncan is a post-doctoral fellow with the Healthy Active Living and Obesity (HALO) group under the supervision of Dr. Mark Tremblay. His research with children and youth is driven by the idea that getting adequate sleep and movement throughout the day is a key contributor to mental well-being and reducing the risk of mental illness across the lifespan. Markus enjoys cycling, skiing, and cooking to support his own mental health (and follows Toronto’s professional baseball and basketball teams to build resilience).
