Biography

Darcie grew up in a small town in northern Ontario before moving to Ottawa to pursue her BA in psychology at Carleton University. She was first introduced to CHEO in the fall of 2014 when she completed a practicum with the eating disorders program. This experience facilitated her interests in the research of body image and mental health in youth, which led her to enroll in the M.A psychology program at Carleton University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, and reading.
