Cynthia Colapinto, a Ph.D. candidate with the Research Institute’s Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Group (HALO), is the recipient of the 2010 Dietitians of Canada Graduate Student Award sponsored by McCain Foods for her dissertation research which aims to examine the folate status of Canadians. This award recognizes academic excellence and contributions to the dietetic profession. The award ceremony was held at the Dietitians of Canada National Conference in Montreal on May 27, 2010.
