Allana LeBlanc was in Melbourne, Australia from June 15-19th attending the International Society of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA) annual general meeting 2011. Allana presented on the development of the Canadian physical activity guidelines for all age groups as well as the Canadian sedentary behaviour guidelines for children and youth. Allana was nominated for outstanding poster from an early career investigator for her presentation focusing on the development of Canadian sedentary behaviour guidelines. Her presentations focused on the process and development of the guidelines that were released by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) in participation with HALO and ParticipACTION earlier this year.
