The Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Group (HALO) at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute is the only full-time group in Canada dedicated solely to the issue of healthy active living and obesity research in children and youth. HALO is committed to advancing research and understanding for the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity and inactivity. As part of this responsibility, HALO has a mandate to train students, professors, clinicians and researchers to assist in the development of future leaders and thinkers in this area of research. HALO is looking for a full-time Research Coordinator for 12 months (with possibility of extension) to work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team devoted to evidence-based health care research in pediatric obesity. This position is dedicated to an ongoing research program related to Prevention in the Early Years.
