Dr. Jean-Philippe Chaput was on Parliament Hill on Monday afternoon from 3-7 pm representing HALO at the Health Research Caucus on Cardiac Research and Heart Health. Dr. Chaput discussed HALO’s initiatives relating to the prevention of pediatric obesity and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
More than 100 Parliamentarians and other guests attended the event. The objective of the Health Research Caucus on Cardiac Research and Heart Health was to draw parliamentarians from all political parties to participate in a non-partisan forum to discuss critical issues to the health and wealth of Canadians.
