Dr. Casey Gray, Rebecca Gibbons, and Professor Mark Tremblay hosted a full day meeting in Montreal on November 4th to finalize plans for two systematic reviews – one examining the relationship between risky play and health and the other examining the relationships between outdoor time and physical activity, sedentary behaviour, fitness and motor skill development. On November 5th the HALO researchers attended a full day symposium titled As safe as possible or as safe as necessary – can injury prevention include healthy risk promotion? Professor Tremblay was part of a panel presentation titled Perspectives on Injury Prevention and Risky Play.
