On June 7th HALO participated in “Doors Open at CHEO” by hosting an interactive booth to share our research with the Ottawa community. The day was a success with around 500 community members visiting CHEO. Those who stopped by the HALO booth had a chance to experience some of the physical literacy testing components that are included in the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy (CAPL). Visitors also heard about how Canada stacks up against 14 other countries on physical activity for children and youth in the Active Health Kids Canada Physical Activity Report Card.
