Professor Mark Tremblay visited Bangkok on April 18-19 to advise Thailand officials on the development of a Thailand Report Card on Physical Activity for Children and Youth. Professor Tremblay provided presentations on:

  1. The Global Matrix 2.0, an initiative that will see 39 countries from around the world contribute report card findings following a harmonized process to produce a international matrix of grades across 9 physical activity indicators, allowing for cross-country comparisons;
  2. Scientific publication plans for report  card data and findings;
  3. Strategies for a successful report card launch and subsequent advocacy and action.

The Global Matrix 2.0 will be released at the 2016 International Society for Physical Activity and Health Congress in Bangkok in November.
