We would like to announce that Bruno da Costa is going back to Brazil next week (Tuesday night). Bruno is a PhD student from Brazil that Dr. Mark Tremblay and Dr. Jean-Phillippe Chaput met last year when they went to Florianopolis. Dr. Jean-Phillippe Chaput is also Bruno’s co-supervisor.
Bruno was originally supposed to be with HALO for 6 months (January-July) but COVID-19 extended his stay with us a bit (which is good!). Bruno did not get a chance to fully enjoy a typical “HALO experience” because of the COVID-19 situation but we get that he really enjoyed his stay in Canada.
Thank you, Bruno, for your contagious energy, passion for physical activity and health promotion, and your excellent work in the past few months. HALO was very proud to have you and we wish you all the best in your future career!
