Congratulations to Angelica Blais (PhD student) and undergraduate honours students Melenna Awaju, Busola Dehinbo, and Javier Porras Gil for their excellent presentations at the 26th Annual Eastern Canada Sport & Exercise Psychology Symposium in Ottawa (March 26th, 2022)!

Melenna presented the results of her study examining the feasibility of healthy lifestyle e-health intervention resources for youth waiting for specialist mental health support. Angelica presented her research to understand physical literacy development in children with chronic medical conditions. Busola’s research examined the relationship between quality of life and physical literacy and Javier reported parent perceptions of physical literacy, both projects also focused on children with chronic medical conditions.

Kudos to the undergraduate students who particularly impressed the audience with their “graduate level” research. We look forward to seeing the future research endeavours of these outstanding trainees!
