HALO Research Manager Dr. Louise de Lannoy was recently interviewed for an article published in the Washington Post. The article, entitled ‘Super short workouts can Be Surprisingly Effective‘, discusses the benefits of short bouts of high-intensity exercise to improve cardiorespiratory fitness and other indicators of health improvement such as reduced waist circumference, blood pressure, and insulin resistance. Louise was interviewed based on her expertise on cardiorespiratory fitness as a clinical risk factor, the focus of her PhD thesis work.
